Travel is starting to pick back up and many are looking forward to 2021 and planning their trips. As a Travel expert the new year brings new trends and ways of marketing your niche in the travel business. Setting yourself up as an expert is a great benefit when it comes to your marketing. How can you make sure that you are doing this?

Here are some tips to keep in mind.
Because of all the changes that have come along with the coronavirus many restrictions have been placed on travel. So, what can you be sure to mention in your marketing for travel? New trends that have popped up due to necessity may stick around in the future as many have seen the benefits of added protection when it comes to cleanliness. As a travel professional, do you have certain travel destinations that you work with that are instilling the new routines of making sure that everyone who travels to their destination will enjoy the comfort of knowing that the area they are visiting is taking extra precaution to make sure that they are safe? Be sure to mention this in your Social Media posts. Use your website as a means of information and make sure that you are easily found on the web. Post your contact information where people will readily see it so if they want to talk to you in person they can easily do so.
Do you have a blog added to your website? If not, now is a great time to add or get one added. If you do have a blog using this marketing tool to your benefit is a must. Write articles that get people motivated to travel. Write articles that are information relevant and that people will see as a way to gather information that will be useful to them. For instance, a trend that is picking up is traveling as a family group. Some areas have helped break the lockdown “bubble” and provided private tours for groups traveling together. They have provided private transportation and accommodations so that it is easier to follow social distancing guidelines. This is also of interest to travelers because it may give them more freedom to pick their activities and accommodate the interest of the group. Do you as a travel professional do work with places that do this sort of thing? Be sure to market it if you do. This is the kind of information that travels are craving in the times that we are in.
Travel is part of what all people look forward to throughout the year. And although things have had to change in some of the way we used to travel that does not mean we have to quit traveling.
