Travel Professional – Tips on Marketing

Most people will research a product or a service before they pull the trigger on whatever it is that they are looking for.  Especially now in the changing climate of the world that we are living..hello Corona Virus..is it important for businesses to market their services.  This is true for the Travel business.

Here are some tips to keep in mind when marketing your business.

  • With travel over this past year of 2020 in a up and down state people had to stop traveling for a time with the introduction of the Corona Virus.  Now that things are pretty much open around the world, you as a Travel Professional need to be sure you are marketing your services with this in mind.  Many people have had one or both of the vaccine shots and are ready to travel and make up for the last year.  Keep up on the changes and use your website and Social Media to show that you are an expert in your field.  Make yourself available for any questions that may arise due to the lack of travelers over the last year.  Be reachable via email or a phone call.  Although people are ready to jump in with both feet and start their travel adventure there may still be a few issues that may arise. Perhaps you can forsee some of these issues and address them in you media posts.

  • Use your Social Media to reach all types of travelers. Reach families, older travelers, adventurers and others with different ideas on fun outings and places to visit.  Get suggestions from your follows on what they have come across and offer solutions to issues that may have raised during travel or that may come up on travel day.  Keeping your follows informed and interested in what you have to say is an important way to market and grow your following.  This not only keeps you on the minds of those looking to travel but also grows your business.

Marketing is more important now more than ever.  With people turning to Social Media for tips and ideas you need your business to be involved in the “conversation”.   Need some help on where to start? Check out our Social Media Packages here.
