How to Build Trust With Potential Clients

In a personal relationship one key ingredient is trust. That is no different in a professional relationship. Consumers want to know that they can trust you when it comes to your travel business profession. Below are some tips on building trust with potential clients no matter what type of travel business you are in.

Tourists have many companies to choose from and you need to stand out as the professional who they will decide to book with. Once you start a trusting relationship they will continue to turn to you for their future trips. They will most likely also share your information with their family and friends.

  • If you're a hotel, you need to position your hotel as the perfect launching pad for local things to do in your area. Promote activities in your area that people will find exciting. Write posts that excite and get people filling in their calendars with the activities that you suggest.

  • If you're a travel agency, you need to set yourself up as the expert by writing advice on things to do, places to eat, trendy tourist attractions and where to stay on your blog and social media. And using photos that make the tourist put themselves in the picture is a must!

  • If you're a tourist attraction, restaurant or business trying to attract tourists, then you need to setup your blog and social media pages as the place to go to find local places to stay and other things to do and not just sell them on your services. That way, you build their trust that you have their best interests in mind first and then they'll want what you're offering. Use your location name. For example "Here in Fort Lauderdale, Florida this is a must for all travelers.."
